Bacchus Marsh Basketball Association Appoints Chris Tighe as Basketball Program and Development Manager

The Bacchus Marsh Basketball Association (BMBA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Chris Tighe as the new Basketball Program and Development Manager. Chris brings a wealth of experience in basketball administration and player development to the role, promising to enhance the growth and success of the association’s programs.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science and has an extensive background in the basketball community. He served as the General Manager at Sunbury Basketball for seven years, where he played a pivotal role in advancing the organisation and its programs. His leadership and strategic vision helped Sunbury Basketball achieve significant milestones in player development and community engagement.

In addition to his previous role, Chris has served as the Regional Services Manager at Townsville Basketball Inc., where he was instrumental in managing and expanding basketball services across the region. He is also currently a Clinic Coach at NBA Schools Australia, where he works closely with young athletes to develop their skills and passion for the game.

Chris has coached at various levels of basketball, demonstrating a deep passion for nurturing junior players. His commitment to developing young talent aligns perfectly with the BMBA’s mission to foster a supportive and dynamic environment for aspiring athletes.

Chris will come on in a part-time role and drive player development.”
